Hockney: Live from L.A.

Last night (Tuesday 25th Nov 2014) I watched the premier of Randall Wright's highly anticipated Hockney documentary film with artist Q&A broadcast live from LA. It is a brilliant film with insight into the genius behind such great artworks as “A Bigger Splash” 1967 and Hockney’s recent landscape pictures 2012-13, which I find so inspiring. Time to digest and enjoy.

Another brilliant film (which I watch often) is “David Hockney: A Bigger Picture” by Bruno Wollheim. This film makes for fantastic viewing if you want to see how Mr Hockney paints his landscapes.
