Hockney retrospective at the Tate Britain 2017.

13 February 2017 - written by Andy Maitland.

Visit to see Hockney retrospective art exhibition at Tate Britain, UK.

I visited the Tate Britain and the Hockney retrospective exhibition last Friday. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the iconic "A Bigger Splash" and Hockney's huge double portraits. This is the first time I’ve seen these and they are impressive.

As a retrospective the display of a few of the magnificent iPad drawings from the 'The Arrival of Spring' series would have taken this exhibition to a ten. These are some of the most recognisable works of art in the world. Fortunately, Annely Juda Fine Art in London is currently showing a few iPad drawings from the series until March 25th. Complete your Hockney retrospective experience, hurry over to Annely Juda to enjoy them too!
